Brescia Teatro Grande

Brescia is the city where the Teatro Grande was founded over 400 years. Its magnificent Sala Grande is in neoclassical style while the Sala del Ridotto is rococo. Today, the Teatro Grande has a rich programme of opera and ballet, and hosts the highly acclaimed Festival Internazionale di Brescia e Bergamo, one of the most important festivals of classical music in Italy. Drama productions are staged in other theatres and halls of the city, as is music of all genres and contemporary dance.
